trying to get my shit together.

Hey guys,

so I thought I’d let you know what I’ve been trying for years and now seriously want to pursue… Get serious about working out and eating healthy.

I hope that writing this down and sharing my progress with you might actually help me do this for real now. I still have to figure out how often I can go to the gym now that university starts on Monday and I have a lot to learn about meal prepping. At the moment I will have Wednesdays and Fridays off, but I seriously have to find a part-time job. Being used to earning money and now being completely cut off, will definitely be hard. I do have a few savings in  my account, but turns out I’ve been spending more money than ever this past month. This will be a really hard time.

So, back to me trying to work out more and eating more healthy. I have a gym membership for about three years now and there were times where I went regularly and times were I didn’t go for months. I recently got back into going at least two to three times a week with a friend of mine. We’re usually just hitting up some of the courses that my gym offers and feel really good afterwards.
Thanks to YouTube though I’ve been following a lot of Fitness channels and been loving them ever since. Didn’t really change anything about my motivation in actually working out though. Yesterday I was at the FIBO in Cologne though and I actually got the chance to meet two of my favorite YouTubers (Nikki Blackketter and Rob Lipsett) – super nice guys by the way – and just being there and the vibe that was going on, made me want to be serious about this now. I can’t always just say I’ll do it, I have to start and once I’ll see the results I know it was worth it.

Of course another big part in working out and getting my body into the shape I want it to be, is eating healthy. I’ve been vegan for almost two years now and I have to admit I haven’t really been the healthiest one. I like to eat, I like food and I looooove sweets. In my opinion eating healthy doesn’t mean you’ll have to cut out special foods and all that – it’ll just makes you crave the more if you do – you just have to find the right balance. I thing that starting Uni on Monday will actually help me to get into being more healthy easier, because I am forced to meal prep as I have no clue if they have any appealing vegan options there.

So in the following months I’ll try to keep you updated about my progress with meal prep posts and maybe a few fitness posts, even though I’m not sure how to actually write and structure on (any tipps?). I also put it on my bucket list to get more into blogging now that I will have more time to dedicate to this blog. Hope you guys are excited and will follow my blog to not only see if there will be a transformation in my body, but also how things at university will go.

Beauty Products I use every day.

Today I thought I’d share some beauty products with you I use every single day. Hope you’ll enjoy this post. The products are mainly all from the drugstore so they’re affordable.

Makeup 

First of all I have to say that I’m not going all out with my makeup every single day. I only use foundation, bronzer, highlighter etc. when I’m going out or feel like it. Most of the time though I’m too lazy and just put on the things you can see below.

  • Concealer: Wake Up Concealer by Manhatten in the shade 002 Classic Beige
  • Powder: Soft Compact Powder Natural Look by Manhattan in the shade 3 Beige
  • Blush: Either Powder Rouge Tender Touch by Manhattan or 09 Journey by NYX
  • Mascara: either Colossal Go Extreme! by Maybelline or Perversion by Urban Decay
  • Eyebrows: the pencile is by Lacura Beauty in the shade blond
  • Brushes/Sponges: 106 Powder Brush by Zoeva, for my concealer I use the miracle complexion sponge by Real Techniques and I have no clue where the brush I use for blush is from and my eyelash curler is by beeline
